Day 1Arrival Kathmandu

Overnight: In Kathmandu

Upon arriving at Kathmandu, the capital of the Kingdom, you will be met by our local guide at the exit of the airport
It will be 7-10 km only and takes 20-30 minutes from airport to the Kathmandu downtown. Have welcome drinks and check in. If time permits, you could choose to visit the nearby local markets on your own or visit Thamel, a tourist district of Kathmandu. Thamel bustles with activity late into the late evening. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city.

Day 2Kathmandu

Overnight: In Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will start full day tour to explore Kathmandu city. Kathmandu is a charming city, where tourists not only view the cultural sites, but could also enjoy the particular life style.

First, take a sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple- the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, first established in 5th century. Then move to Guheswari Temple, another historic and holy temple of Guheswari. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple courtyard. After that, go to visit Boudhanath Temple- Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa), the largest stupa in Nepal lies a further 2 km north from Pashupatinath Temple and also the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet.

Kathmandu Durbar Square or Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the then Kathmandu Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar (royal palace) Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Square teems with life as vendor's children tourists and other crowed around the temple of the Living Goddess Kumari. Goddess Taleju and the Kastamandap Rest house. Then Explore more temples, like Kasthamandup and Swayambhunath, which is the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from here, one can see the almost entire Kathmandu valley spread out below. Swayambhunath is a best place to observe religious harmony between Nepalese Buddhists and Hindus. And then transfer to Hotel.

Day 3Kathmandu

Overnight: In Kathmandu

Hotel breakfast and start the full day visit to Patan and Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is located 14km eastward to Kathmandu, one of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley. It is the birthplace of medieval architecture and art in Nepal. Bhaktapur means the “the city of rice” or the “city of devil” in Nepalese. We could visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, 1401m above sea level. It is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Around the spare, there are many cultural wonders, like, the Lion Gate-Dating, The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-five Windows, The Picture Gallery, The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Batsala Devi Temple, The Pashupati Temple, Nyatapola Temple, and Dattatraya Temple.

In the afternoon, drive to explore Patan, the ancient city of Patan, lying 5 Kms southeast of Kathmandu, is known as the city of fine arts. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The highlights at Patan are Patan Durbar Square, Hiranya Varna Mahaviha, Patan Industrial Estate.
